Hi! I’m Gabriella, and welcome to Pasta Sunday. A newsletter that explores the joy of making fresh pasta at home, cooking projects, kitchen notes plus a yap here and there.


I launched the Pasta Sunday newsletter in April 2022 as a way to connect with people outside of social media, to create a platform where I could go into more detail with recipes and techniques. It became a space where I could celebrate food through photography and words, and not just a 30 second video clip.

What started as a weekly recipe share centred around fresh pasta, has since evolved into something more than that. This is where I share recipes and deep dives into fresh pasta and techniques, but also somewhere to put down my thoughts, kitchen notes and anecdotes, recommendations, plus news about events and other things going on IRL.

So if you love pasta, making things from scratch and cooking in general, I hope Pasta Sunday will be somewhere you find comfort and inspiration.

A quick note:

Unlike many Substack publications, in 2025 I decided to move away from the paid subscription model. I want to keep this space open and free to use, and I want the content shared here to be authentic, organic and not subject to a posting schedule.
